Evaporator Coils

An essential component of most HVAC systems, the evaporator coil contains the chilled refrigerant which absorbs the heat from inside the building. As the heat is absorbed, the refrigerant is converted from a liquid to gas moving on to the compressor. Then, via the compressor(s), the heated refrigerant is then moved externally to the condenser coil(s) where it is dispensed to the environment.

In a heat pump system, the operation detailed above is reversed with the evaporator coil expelling the heat into the building.

Our evaporator coils are used in several industries, including gas compression, HVAC, military, transit cooling, refrigerated display cases, data center & electronics cooling, and ground support

Evaporator Coil Largest Amount of Distribution

Quite simply one of the most complex distributor coils we have ever built. This copper tube/copper fin, 12-row coil features 10 interlaced circuits. It supports multiple zone temperature control within the HVAC unit.

Evaporator Coil Data Center Cooling & High Rise Systems

This high capacity copper tube/aluminum coil supports data center operation and/or multi-zone control within an HVAC system. It is both interlaced (8 circuits), and face split with intermediate drain pan.  A support brace was designed to secure the distributor nozzles for ease of installation.

Evaporator Coil Blast Freezer

This product supports multiple operating conditions including a low-temperature operation (-40F). The core assembly uses copper tube and aluminum fins, and the distributor uses hot gas reheat ports to support the reheat cycle.  The rated capacity is 80 tons.

Evaporator with Flexane on End Plates

This 25" x 38" 8-row evaporator was constructed using .0055" aluminum fins and 1/2" OD rifled copper tubing. It was used for a ground support application and Flexane was applied on the end plates to eliminate air bypass.

Evaporator for Electronics Cooling

This 4-row evaporator was constructed using aluminum fins with a sine wave pattern and 3/8" copper tubes. When installed, it will be skid-mounted and is used to cool  simulation equipment used in flight training.
